Dont get me wrong. I do not profess to being any sort of an artist. But the joy of a blank canvas, a brush and some paint is just too much. The genre of mixed media gives a girl so much freedom and takes away some of my disappointment in myself when a painting turns out NOTHING like what was in my head. Currently playing with doilies and old woodprint story book pages. Will share once finished. Wishing my phone had a better camera too.

The start of a 3 hour stickering ordeal. Finally on our way...175km (105miles) to Auckland and tomorrow mornings startline.
